The reason the name of this blog has an additional ‘p’ added onto it, is because have already submitted one blog for the Graphic Design course at Manchester Metropolitan University.

The work submitted is a range of photography, graphic and drawing pieces to show you my range of ability.
The first piece is of a Male friend, this photograph was used in my brief ‘Time’ as a Fashion photograph, the connection was that the time of the year was winter, i turned the image into black and white and added a 'noise' filter to add to the authenticity of the photograph and to add more connections to the brief 'Time'.
My second piece was taken at a vintage car show in Formby. I have completely changed the background as the distraction of people took everything away from the car, the photograph i used for the background i had also taken. I also changed everything to black and white apart from American Flag and red tail lights as I thought both being red they tied together.
The portrait using the ‘Half Face’ lighting technique was taken in my bedroom using my bed side lamp as the light source. I turned the portrait black and white and sharpened the eyes to emphasize them more.
The Life Drawing piece was created using glue, white paint and chalk.
I thoroughly enjoy Photography, as my ambition is to become a designer, using both photography and graphic design to create my own style. I find that I've become more independent this year and my work has been at a better quality as I am more focused on what I want to achieve. I am ready for university and i am excited to learn new techniques and processes and develop my own personal style as a designer.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.
